As of the 1st December 2017, the current link to order prescriptions online will become obsolete. This will be replaced by a link for Patient EMIS Access. You will still be able to order your prescriptions online but will have to initially register for the service.
Unlike the current link, the repeat medication that you are currently taking is listed for you and you just need to select the items required. There is also the facility to send a message with your repeat prescription request.
On the 1st December 2017 the link below will change and take you externally to the Patient Access screen this can also be accessed from the home page using the ‘Register or Book Appointment’ link.
The prescribing line will be turned off from the 1st January 2018, we feel that this is good practice and reduces the margin for errors when patients are requesting prescriptions. Patients will no longer be able to order prescriptions over the telephone. Please order via EMIS Patient Access, through a pharmacy, by submission of your B-side in the box in reception, by post or by fax on 01706 346800.
If you have any queries or questions regarding these new changes, please do not hesitate to contact the surgery on 01706 346767 and speak to Rachael who will be only to happy to help you.
